I can't believe how fast time is flying by. January is about to end, and life is just busy! This weekend was REALLY busy, but also really fun. It was the perfect combination of getting things done around the house and enjoying time with friends. Could I have gotten more done? Of course! But I really needed the emotional recharge as well. I have a special place in my heart for all things cowboy. I was quite the little cowgirl myself. I grew up riding horses, and I wish E could have that same experience. Santa brought him a rocking horse for Christmas, and today I got a special package in the mail - it was a cowboy hat. I can't believe how grown-up he looks, and this picture will forever make me smile. So sweet! I also found an old picture that I had scanned of me in my cowgirl days!

I couldn't resist...

My friend made E this adorable hat, and then used the rest of the yarn to make me this adorable scarf. So I couldn't resist taking an adorable picture, which I'm sure will bring E much embarrassment down the road. I know Cam wasn't too pleased to take a "matching" picture. But I still think it's adorable.

Laundry Helper

E is a party animal! He stayed up until 11:30 and had a blast playing, especially with his Birthday Buddy! She's exactly 2 years older than E, and they love each other. She always comes to sit with us at church to be with E. So cute!
