One picture
I love the saying "A picture's worth a thousand words." I took this picture last night, and while it's not a fantastic picture, it will always remind me of so many little things about E.
1. He's so dang flexible. Look at his legs. This is just one of his favorite positions. This kid can bend in half and twist like a pretzel.
2. My son loves to take off socks. Notice that one is missing. About 30 seconds after this photo, the other one went too!
3. My son has my OCD genes. Those bottles he's holding are from sprinkles that I used for cake pops. He loves the bottles. The scary thing is that he knows there are two, so he'll dig through the bucket or search the room to find the other one before he'll play with them. This is not the first time he's done this, and he does it with other toys too!
4. Notice that he's sitting by the TV stand. His favorite toy is right behind him - the x-box button. He's waiting for me to turn around so he can touch it repeatedly. It makes a lovely noise and lights up for him!
5. Notice also on the TV stand that the knobs are gone on the drawers. Removing the knobs was easier than dealing with smashed fingers, since these are the most baby-accessible drawers in the house. If it opens, E will find it and explore it.
6. I love that smile and I love that he shares it with us all the time!

Ten Months
E is ten months old! We celebrated by going to the doctor for the 8th time in three months. They took him off the antibiotic, and he's on a 3 day round of antibiotic shots. Poor little guy. The good news is that we're on to the ENT next. We also celebrated with a haircut. As you can see, it was down to his eyes already and all over his ears. He looks so grown up now! The stylist couldn't believe that this was his 2nd haircut at 10 months! I told her we'd probably be back often at this rate. Unlike the last haircut, he sat perfectly still and didn't fuss at all. His shirt was perfect today - he is becoming such a "big guy!"

A Week of NC Weather
On Sunday night, it snowed about 3+ inches. Yesterday, it was mid-70's. I never know what clothes to pull out each day!! Since it was so beautiful yesterday, we went on a walk and had E try the swings for the first time.

Giggles
I love when E laughs - and nobody gets better laughs than Daddy!

Daddy's Little Helper
Cam was installing some cabinet locks, and E just had to go help out. E was SO excited, it's like he knew he was doing something important with daddy! He was all smiles and giggles. It was too cute, so I had to capture the moment.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Cam and I actually celebrated yesterday, the day before Valentine's Day. Tracy watched E and his little friend while the parents went out for a nice dinner. It was only the second time we've gone out on a date since E was born - not because I don't want to leave him, but because we just never make the time! It was nice to sit and just relax through dinner!
Today Little E enjoyed his Valentine's treat from Tracy - a ring pop. He won't take a pacifier, but he sure held on tight to this! We also enjoyed some cute cakes that Cam made for us! And best of all, right in time for Valentine's Day, E has learned how to give kisses. It melts my heart! For a holiday that Cam and I usually ignore, it was a great 2 days!

Sick Day
E and I both have awful colds/coughs, and E is on his 4th ear infection. It was a really rough weekend, and we both stayed home today to try to get a little better. He's feeling better today, but I think I am about the same because it wore me out running around after him today. Either way, it was great to see him smiling and playing again. His current favorite toy is a little dump truck from Grammy. He loves to crawl around pushing it all around the room.
