Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to Cam and all the other dads out there! In honor of Father's Day, E has only wanted daddy all day. He walks around saying "Dad" and loves to be held by daddy. They're currently in the other room doing horsey rides!

Cam is building a shed for our backyard, and it kills E to hear the sawing and drilling and hammering and not be out there helping daddy. I take him out every now and then to "help" a bit. He sure loves his dad!

Pre-Nursery

At our church, nursery class starts at 18 months old. We're close, but in the meantime it's a struggle to keep E still and quiet and happy. So, here he is in "Pre-Nursery" with his buddy. Hot Wheels are the current favorite toy. Just a few more months!!

Aunt Jenn had a few days off, so we went and spent the night and had some fun playing, eating, and relaxing!

More Swimming

Cam had the cub scout swimming party, so E and I tagged along. He did ok in the pool, but wouldn't it be our luck that there was something to distract him again - you guess it. A dog! Sometime we'll go swimming and there won't be a dog!!

The Zoo

We went to the zoo with friends, and it was so much fun. The boys both loved it, although they were DONE by the time we got to the end. Sorry lions, maybe next time! 

Swimming

Today E went swimming in a big pool for the first time. He loved it, but he loved playing with Bo, the dog, even more. And playing in the dirt. And pushing pool chairs around. And stepping on a frog. And banging on the pool house door. And watching ants on the ground. And stealing flip flops and water bottles. Do you get the picture? We didn't get a whole lot of swimming in, but it was fun anyway. Here's a picture of E with his buddy Bo. This boy LOVES dogs!

Busy Weekend

It was a crazy weekend. We had friends over for a bbq on Saturday, and we had a bbq at a park today as well as a little party for Maw Maw's 84th birthday. E took it all in stride. He loves getting spoiled by Maw Maw, and he loves being able to explore outside!
