What a week!

Besides hitting the big 4 month mark, E has had quite a big week... here are just a few of his accomplishments:

- Survived his first earthquake
- Survived hurricane Irene
- Went to the Chinese Buffet for the first time
- Sang and talked to Mommy while she did dishes and laundry (see picture)
- Went to visit MawMaw
- Watched Golden Girls with Gigi (he has discovered the TV - which means that there will be much less TV time happening in the Johnson house)
- Went to the doctor and got some shots (not fun!) Length 27 inches (99th percentile!) Weight 17 lbs. 6 oz. (91st percentile)

This Little Piggy...

"Time is a gift, a treasure not to be put aside for the future but to be used wisely in the present." -Thomas S. Monson

I feel like time is just flying by now. I come home from work and just eat up every minute I have with E before he goes to bed. I love playing with him! Here he is, grabbing his adorable little toes! Wouldn't trade this for anything.

"Big Smile"

Whenever E smiles, we always say "Oh, look at that big smile!" The adorable outfit he wore to church today said "Big Smile," which is so perfect for him. Someone at church asked if he ever stops smiling because every time she sees him he's happy. That's my boy!

Serenaded at Breakfast

E's new thing is to sing. He does this weird thing with his lips that cracks us up every time, and he is LOUD when he sings. It almost sounds like whining, and his face is so expressive. It's great entertainment during meals!

Splish Splash

Now that my Emmett time is limited, I take advantage of every moment I have in the evenings (Of course, I have to share some Emmett time with Cam too!). My favorite time is bath time. E loves baths SO much, and it's a blast to watch him splashing and kicking. Tonight he was being totally adorable after bath time, playing with his towel and talking to me. Love this kid!
