Weekend with Aunt Jenn

Aunt Jenn came for the weekend, and we had a blast at Dan Nicholas Park. And since we were almost all the way there, we went to eat some great BBQ at Sonny's in Charlotte. We also made a mandatory stop at Red Mango. E sneaked some of Aunt Jenn's while she was gone. Sneaky boy.

Emmett is 3!

I can't believe it - Emmett is 3! Time is flying by! He makes us laugh everyday. Here are some pics...

Chuck E Cheese

Emmett shares a birthday with our friend Amy, so we got to go to her party at Chuck E Cheese. We hadn't been before, and E was on excitement overload! He really wanted to ride the truck, but once it started moving he freaked out. I had to snap a picture. Poor guy! After that we stuck to easier games. For weeks after he has talked about the giant mouse, pizza, and games.

My Birthday

My mom came out for my spring break, and she was able to be here for E's birthday party. She was also here for my birthday. I decided to play hooky and spend the day with mom and the kids. We played at the park and then went out to eat. My favorite moment was that there was a "stuction stuction site" (construction site) outside the restaurant, so E was glued to the window. Nothing better than a day with family!

Easter Sunday

We dyed some eggs, went to church, and spent time with family. Busy but beautiful day!
