Grammy and Papa are Here!

We are so excited to have Grammy and Papa come to visit! We had a fun morning at the park, and then they brought Maw Maw over and we had dinner. It was a beautiful day!

Imagination

I love watching E's imagination grow. I walked into Susie's room to this scene:

"I'm a cowboy!"

And later that night, we went to the park. He was pretending to be a monster and growling at the other kids. There were some older kids there, and they could have just blown him off or been too cool for him. Instead, they let him chase them and pretended to be scared. It made my night!

Susie is really growing up - she is playing at the park and trying to move around more. Emmett loved showing her around!

Back to Warm Weather

The weather was so nice, we couldn't resist stopping at the park on the way home from church. It was such a beautiful day.Got to get outside when we can!

Aunt Jenn came for a visit, and the weather was nice, so we ran to the park. Susie's first time swinging (big hit!)

Park Day

You're probably thinking "Another park post?" But the funny thing about this day is that it was nice enough to go to the park in between snow storms. Crazy weather!

Susie was all smiles as always, and Emmett was in constant motion!

Labor Day

We had a great Labor Day - we got together with friends at the park and grilled some yummy food. The kids loved playing, and we had a great time hanging out!

Just so you know, the charcoal was NOT in the grill yet. He's "cleaning" it!

Memorial Day

I love Memorial Day and the meaning behind it. I'm so grateful for my grandfathers and their service in WWII, and Camron's grandpa as well. I also love the other tradition of grilling on Memorial Day. We met up with friends at the park down the street (which was shockingly EMPTY) and had a great time eating, laughing, and playing.

Spring Break Vacation 6

Friday was a fun day with a picnic at the park. The whole family invaded Castle Park, and we had a blast. Again, E was all worn out. We're playing HARD on this trip!

That night, we had a surprise dinner to celebrate Grandma's retirement. It was a dinner without kids, and it was fun to have a quiet evening with just the adults. I don't have any pictures from the rest of the trip (actually, I have a ton, but I'm trying to limit how many posts I make!) We had family pictures and dinner on Friday, so sometime I'll have those to post. Saturday was just filled with conference, packing, and saying goodbye.

New Park

They built a park at the end of our street (awesome!) so I decided to stop with E after work. It's a great park. It has a fenced-in toddler area so they can't run off. E loved the grasshopper. He also loved the little bell, chimes, xylophone, and drums!
