1st Birthday Photos

Happy 1st Birthday E!

So happy to be celebrating E's big 1st Birthday today! After a great time at Gigi's house, we went out with Maw Maw to celebrate at our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was a blast!

April Birthdays

Saturday was my birthday. I had a great day with Cam, E, Jenn, and Jannette. We went to Red Robin and Red Mango (maybe I should have worn red?). It was nice to spend time with family and friends. We had the hardest time taking a picture - can you tell that E is distracted by the cars passing by?

Now, on to the most important birthday - E turns one on Tuesday! I'm feeling a full range of emotions - happy and proud that he's growing up and learning new things, sad that it's happening so fast, relieved that we've made it through the first year and that it's been rather uneventful, and stressed trying to throw his big bash next weekend. I can't wait to be able to spend time with all our friends and family though - it's going to be a blast!

Puppy Love

I've said it before, but E loves Nick and Gracie. Gracie has him figured out though - if she licks his hand enough, she gets what she wants, whether it's a snack or a ball! This is what I sat listening to tonight - that laugh is such a beautiful sound. The perfect thing to help me forget my rotten day. The dishes in the sink can wait, right?

Easter

Easter is my favorite holiday. We went to church with Maw Maw, and then had lunch at her house. E had his first chance to hunt for eggs outside. It was a perfect day!

 

 

NC Zoo

Cam took Friday off, so we decided to go to the zoo. It was beautiful weather, and we had a great time. E just took in all the sights and sounds!

Easter Bunny

Last year on Easter, E was born! Easter is earlier this year, but I wanted some cute pictures with a bunny so I contacted a former student who had one. E also got to see sheep with new lambs, 2 llamas, and chickens!
